I started taking lessons with Tu My to improve my speaking skills in Vietnamese. Since starting, I've been able to carry on full conversations with my elder family members, which is important to me. I was also able to travel to Vietnam and communicate fairly well. Tu My always comes prepared to class and will cover topics that are pertinent to your daily life and needs. Go ahead and schedule a lesson. Stay away from my regular days and time though!

I’ve been learning Vietnamese with Tu My as a heritage speaker, and I really appreciate how she adjusts the lessons to fit my needs, respecting my background in Vietnamese. She has her own course materials, which are helpful and clear. The lessons are a nice mix of interesting conversations about various topics and learning new vocabulary. I’ve also enjoyed learning more about Vietnam and its culture through our sessions. I’d recommend her to anyone wanting to improve their Vietnamese!

My wife and I have been enjoying Vietnamese lessons with Tú Mỹ. We've learned so much already in such a short period of time. After just a few lessons we know the alphabet, we understand the 6 tones, we know the numbers, colours, days, months, time, many foods and many animals. The classes are a nice balance of learning new material while also practicing and solidifying knowledge from previous classes. We both highly recommend Tú Mỹ!

Tu My is an excellent teacher! She builds on the lessons and vocabulary in a way that makes sense, and the games she plans help solidify what I’m learning. She’s also very kind in correcting as I continue to learn. I’m looking forward to continuing lessons with her!

Tu My is a great viet teacher! I am currently a beginner in learning Viet and I am learning a lot through her lessons. She is patient and always willing to adjust to her students' pace of learning. It has been less than 5 lessons with her, and I already know the basics (counting up to 100, alphabets, days, months, colors, tones)! I strongly suggest her if you are willing to master the basics :)!

My teacher Tu My is an amazing teacher! She’s extremely patient, knowledgeable and you can tell that teaching comes natural for her. She provides good material and fun games to learn and uses helpful methods to teach. She is also very friendly and easy to talk to, has a good sense of humour and you will feel at ease learning with her. She makes great feedback on how to improve pronunciation and she has the ability to explain complex elements of the language into a clearer perspective which honestly makes learning easier to absorb. Learning with Ty My is enjoyable and I always look forward to my classes with her! You will not regret it.

I was lucky to have stumbled upon Tu My when I was looking for a Vietnamese tutor. I tried many other tutors and found learning Vietnamese difficult and sometimes frustrating with the different tones. Tu My assessed my level of comprehension and developed lessons to suit my level. She was patient and made the lessons fun. If you are serious about learning Vietnamese definitely give her a try. You will be glad you did, I am.

With the help of my tutor Tu My, I could absolutely improve my Vietnamese language. She is passionate and energetic in terms of making my basic leveled Vietnamese intermediate one by using various teaching methods. Tu My is really nice and patient. Her teaching and lessons plans are really good for someone who doesn't know any Vietnamese! Tu My is a very hardworking teacher. My has been my Vietnamese teacher for over 2 months and I can say that making sure you reach your language development goals is always her number one priority. My has been exceptional with teaching me proper pronunciation and tone use with spoken Vietnamese. If you want to learn a new language, I highly recommend you book a lesson with her. I can't thank her enough for all she has taught me in such a short time.
